We walked the extra 5 miles to make the 'switchbacks' a bit shorter the next day, a bit of a struggle but what a welcome at the Drewins. Fresh tea and home-made Welsh cakes in a warm kitchen - just what we needed. The rooms were just like you would picture a farm-house B & B to be like in... More

Couldn't agree more with Duncan S that Drewin Farm is an ideal place to stay when walking Offa's Dyke. This is especially so due to the fact that the section Knighton to Cwm is probably the toughest on the whole walk, and we managed to strike it just after the wettest week for a million years, making it even harder.... Drewin Farm is an ideal place to stay when walking the Offa’s Dyke path (just a hundred yards or so off the track). After the tough Knighton to Cwm section it was great to be welcomed at Drewin Farm by Ceinwen and Robert Richards with a plate of Bara Brith and a hot chocolate. The whole farmhouse had a homely,... We stayed two nights with Cainwen Richards at Drewin Farm. It is only a hundred yards off Offa's Dyke, so very convenient, with an amazing view to the north so you can see where you've been and feel very pleased with yourself. She is a loving, sunny, warm, bubbly person, nothing is too much trouble, and the farmhouse is charming... More

My wife and I stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke and had an excellent experience. The proprietors were very welcoming to us in all our wet, muddy glory, and immediately served us an excellent tea in their kitchen (beautiful scones and cream!). The room was large and very comfortable, and the setting is gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. Also, the shower... More

Had the lovely pleasure of being a guest at Drewin Farm in May 2012 while walking the Offa's Dyke Path. Having being unable to make contact beforehand due to a faulty phone, I was unable to arrange for an evening meal but even on a Sunday evening with no notice my hostess was extremely obliging and served a fine light... Mrs Richards is a motherly and caring host and you are certainly taken care of in her home. This is not a hotel style accommodation. You are very definitely lodging in a working farmhouse. Mrs Richards try's hard to look after everyone but you may need to fit in with the concensus view of other guests over mealtimes. And Mrs... More

Homely welcome with tea and Welsh cakes, mmm...... our twin room with super view had all facilities and more! Loved the many extras, like the foot scrub after a long walk! So helpful and supportive when we mislaid the car keys.....! Simply cannot fault anything. May you have a bountiful year, you deserve it for all the effort you put... More

Our tour company told us in their description of Drewin Farm that the BB people were "happy to take us to town for dinner" since the BB is far away from a pub and we had already had a long of hiking on Offa's Dyke. When we arrived, we were told that we could not be transported to town because... More

After walking 11 straight hours on the most demanding part of the Offa's Dyke path, my feet and stomach were crying out for a little tea and sympathy and they got both! We arrived later than planned at 8pm but Mrs Roberts was waiting with a large pot of tea and despite preparing for a family christening, found time to... More
