We had a 1 night stay in this hotel on a Saturday night. The hotel is very clean and all the amenities appear to be new giving the hotel a real touch of class. The rooms come with flat screen television, hairdryer and air conditioning, the bathroom is very modern and appears to be environmentally friendly according to the information... More

I have stayed at the County Arms twice now whilst in Truro on business. The staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly, each time showing me to my room and talking me through everything I needed to know. They arranged for me to have room service rather than go into the resturant even though they dont offer room service normally.... More

This was the second time myself and my parter stayed here. Upon arrival we were greated with a friendly welcome and asked if we would like a table booked in the pub/restaurant...The staff were lovey and the food was good. Prices were fair and good size portions. You have some nice views which over look fields and can see wildlife.... More

We booked the County Arms for a short weekend break. Found room excellent, The in room information is very well presented, a lot of effort made to be green, LED lighting etc. Service very friendly, continental breakfast in adjoining pub (on the outside balcony/deck for us by choice in the sun!) with good chices, didn't try the cooked brekker. Overall... More

Stayed at the County Arms last summer for a short break. Initially offered a disabled room but after refusing this we were given a different room which was lovely. Had a fab stay, room great, restaurant great, staff great. Ideally positioned to park up and use train to get to different places. Lovely to return from a day out and... More

We were here in a large group for 5 nights and can hardly fault them. It was the first time they had had a group this size -about 70 and they managed admirably. The food on the first evening was rather average but subsequent nights were pretty good. Breakfast very good. Because the group had come to take part in... More

Immaculate modern custom built hotel. Very pleasant view to rear. Bar furniture utilitarian not particuliarly comfortable. Exceptionally comfortable beds. Take care with the poached eggs. Make sure you tell them how you like them.

Stayed here for 3 days due to a family members illness. Staff couldn't be more helpful in all ways! Rooms are lovely and restaurant and bar (though very busy) served everyone very quickly! Would definitely stay on happier occasions for touring the area etc!

We are local to Truro and go to the county arms every few months for good pub grub, however they have recently changed to offer table service. Unless they do some serious training with the staff they may as well give up! The waitress was unfamiliar with the menu, asked if we wanted our starters before our mains, got one... More

We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave your comments and to offer you our sincerest apologise for the issues that you experienced with us recently. We have been trialling table service in the pub with a view to improving our customer experience, the team have been given regular and on-going training sessions however it’s clear... More

Good location within walking distance of Sainsburys, petrol station and easy walk to town. Fantastic customer service experience from Kelly but all staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room overlooking the hills which was quiet, very spacious, super clean - two years old and it looked new. Hotel was happy for us to use their laundry without... More
