Enough said above really, however I was made to feel uncomfortable on a number of occasions. As someone who uses hotels and guesthouses regularly and who has worked extensively in the hospitality trade I was less than impressed with how I was treated. Worst was landlady letting herself into my room without knocking when I was getting ready to leave...

My brother and I visited the Baytree Guesthouse as we were in Truro for our neice's wedding. I found Ann to be very welcoming and friendly and the twin room my brother and i shared was very comfortable. There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu which was very enjoyable. Ann was a bit organisational but as this was...

There is only one bathroom for four bedrooms, but it was always available and clean, and there are vanity units in the rooms. This is an ideal place for anyone who enjoys company as Ann, the owner, chats with you for ages and she introduces the other guests - breakfast was great not only for the food, but for the...

Staying at the Bay Tree is a bit like staying with your Auntie. Ann, the proprietor, is so friendly and chatty, that you will feel like a member of the family by the time you leave! The Bay Tree is conveniently located about half way between the train station and the city centre. It's homely and comfortable rather than boutique. The rooms aren't en suite but I never queued for the shower or toilet. Breakfast had lots choices. Ann is a very chatty lady. All in all a pleasant stay.

I was in Truro for work, and had booked myself in to the Bay Tree for one night. I arrived at about 10.30pm which wasn't a problem.
Was impressed with my room - a good size, comfortable bed, warm, quiet. On the landing there is a table with plenty of magazines and books at your disposal. Breakfast in the morning...

Myself and my partner recently had the good fortune of discovering the Bay tree Guest house in Truro.
We were welcomed into a beautiful home by the proprietor Ann Renninson Talbot, who made our stay in Cornwall a fantastic experience. Aside from a very warm, welcoming and clean environment, the lovely Ann was a wealth of friendliness, knowledge and quick...
