My husband and I stayed with Anne for 3 nights during a visit to northern Ireland. We loved arriving to a warm, inviting B&B with all the comfort good Irish hospitality provides. I was particularly impressed with the ease Anne catered for my gluten intolerance and both hubby and I loved the walks around the lough and castle remains. Thank... More

Four of us stayed one night in May whilst touring Ireland. Anne was a superb host, and the rooms had magnificent views over the Lough. It may feel a little off the beaten track, but well worth any detour. Anne's knowlege of the area and its history surpassed our guidebook. Kudos also to her friend at Avondale B&B (near Cookstown)... A group of us stayed here whilst watching the Cookstown 100 racing. The rooms are clean comfortable and the excellent breakfast tops it off nicely. The view from the bedroom I has was excellent and looked out over the lake. Anne and her husband are very good hosts and very knowlegable about the area. Great value for money.

I stayed here for two nights just before Christmas and it was such a lovely trip. Anne is genuinely the best host and was so warm and welcoming during my entire stay. There are also amazing walks to do, if you can get yourself out of their comfy beds! I have recommended it to all my friends and family who... More

Friends and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting some family in the area and Anne and Kenny made us feel very welcome in their lovely home. Delicious breakfast, comfy rooms, endless pots of tea and great views. I'd highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

I stayed here with colleagues for three nights. I was very happy and felt very much at home. The rooms were very spacious and the breakfast was full of great choice. Anne and Ken are really lovely people who run a very clean and comfy B&B. It has a beautiful view of a lake just across the road. Its in... More

We stayed here for a few nights and were perfectly satisfied! Lovely welcome, spacious and comfortable rooms, absolutely delicious food every morning. The place is run by a lovely couple, and they really make you feel home. Lot better than staying in a hotel, because here the atmosphere is as if you were family friends, not hotel guests. Highly recommended... More

We stayed here for four nights. The rooms were very clean and the breakfasts were very good. We stayed in the ensuite which had plenty of room and has a separate sitting room. This is much better than staying in a hotel! Anne and Ken are really helpful. The lake in front of the b&b is lovely.

Roughan Lough B&B is a perfect demonstration of how much better a B&B can be as compared with a motel or hotel! "Everything it said on the tin" (their website) and so much more - from a lovely welcome, exceptionally clean and comfortable room, choice of breakfasts, and right down to the details like fresh milk on the tea/coffee tray.... We had a very pleasant stay at Roughan Lough. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The suite downstairs was enormous - plenty of room for a family with a sitting room and ensuite bathroom. Anne made a tasty and filling breakfast and was an absolutely lovely hostess. She and her husband were very helpful with directions and... More
