Perfect location -- right on the main road as you come in from Belfast or the International airport but with off-street parking. Not in the middle of town so it was quiet. You can walk to the Castle but more importantly you can walk to The Windrose Restaurant -- excellent seafood. The rooms are nice sized and immaculate. The mattress... More

Booked the Keep on Trip Advisor reviews, warmly greeted and shown a family room in the front ( two of us) which is on a busy main road. The room has blinds and these you have to keep down unless you want to entertain the people at the bus stop opposite. Droning noise first night like someone useing a vacuum... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Keep. It was in a great location, just a couple blocks from Carrickferfus Castle and a short 15 minutes from Belfast. The room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The price was great and Heather was very helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse to others. More

I won't lie, when I was told the cost of The Keep for over New Year, I was worried, thinking it would be very basic and very much like hostels I have stayed in! This is not the case, the staff were extremely friendly and willing to help in any way they could from the point of booking (over email)... More

We stayed at The Keep this past summer for two nights on a grand tour around the UK with our family. Raymond and Heather were amazing hosts and so gracious with us, we loved getting to know them! The breakfast was unbelievable and they even got up early one morning to make sure we got breakfast before we caught the... More

I spent four comfortable nights there from Sept 11-16 while visiting a friend. I was lucky to get in. This B&B is much used by visiting journeymen and part-time students at the nearby university. The room I had was smallish but clean and convenient. The fact that I could use a living room downstairs during the day was a great... More

Arrived last week with my Wife and two friends at the end of our motorcycling tour of Ireland. Spacious and clean accommodation .Welcoming atmosphere and lots of advice as to where to eat on an evening . If I`d realised the size of the breakfast,I wouldn`t have eaten so much the night before .Eleven out of ten for the breakfast... More

We stayed there for one night and it has been really great. The family welcomed us very warmly in a very nice house, brand new furniture and personal design. Breakfast has been smashing! I really suggest to try the irish fry (home made). The town is small, just above the ocean and very suitable to reach Belfast. I would recommend... More
