We were put up in this hotel due to being unable to reach our final skiing destination because of so much snow. Although this was obviously disappointing staying at this hotel did make our delay much more enjoyable. Rooms were fantastic (we had a duplex) and breakfast was really good - both the selection of food available and the service....

We went to Traube Braz - my mother's favorite hotel - for lunch. Braz is a quaint little village near Bludenz close to the best skiing areas in Vorarlberg, the most Western region of Austria.

We fell upon this hotel on our travels to Salzburg to break the journey and liked it so much we stayed an extra night. The hotel has a new and an old part. Old rooms are clean, well kept and comfortable but of course you can see they have been furnished years ago. The new rooms are brighter (e.g. clear instead of dark wood furniture), offer more comfort and nice design.
