After a very warm welcome we made our way to our room, it was one of the rafter rooms, well cleaned, great bed, clean linen and crisp new towels, nice little touch was chocs on pillows, tea and biscuits, and little bath essentials. After enjoying sun in the lovely gardens, we went for our booked table, and oh dear, it... More

Lounge area here is really pleasant to sit around in - lots of comfortable sofas etc. but really wasn't too impressed by our meal in the grill. Actually we had the same dishes as NureKop below (sesame chicken and ribs) and was disappointed. Sesame chicken was so dry and tough it was almost inedible and the ribs were piled on... More

Upton Grill Room used to be somewhere to get a nice meal, in a great ambiance. How times change. Door handle hanging off the front door. Broken window in door filled in with wood. Smell of a Corfu or sewers filling the air throughout the restaurant. Decor becoming shabby. Thick dust on wooden panels. Well maybe the food was something... More

Cant say we were made to feel different in any way. Food to choose from and service in the most amazing dining room was beyond satisfation and breakfast... More

Went there on a Living Social special offer, booked two rooms. no sleep at all the first night, hard beds, rough brown blankets, noisy neighbours. When we complained at 2:30 a.m and 4 a.m. we were told there was nothing to be done. Our children were woken by the noise at 4:30 .The menus were labelled "living Social" .We were... More

Living Social deal is supposed to be a normal stay one else in the hotel but at a discounted price. Not so we were sat in a different section of the grill room, i over heard the waitress saying "living social customers seated in here" separate special menu too from the rest of the guests- disappointed. Did ask however if... More

I travel to NI at least 3 times a month and decided this time to stay out of City Centre. The hotel is very easy to get to, right off the motorway and has plenty of free parking. I ate in both the restaurant and lounge and enjoyed a very nice breakfast too. I would stay there again if they... More
