Excellent sized rooms and good service. First class bar food at reasonable prices. Really friendly staff. The only issue I had was this was part of Best Western when I booked then they left the franchise before I stayed there so I got no points for the stay. I feel someone should have sent me an email..easy to do and... More

Dear Mike Gr, Thank you very much for taking the time to post your review of your stay at Magherabuoy on Tripadvisor. I'm delighted you enjoyed our big rooms, good food and the attentiveness of our friendly staff. Pleasant staff really can make the difference in a stay being 'average' and very enjoyable, it gives me great pleasure to hear... More

We Stayed for one night as part of a Facebbok offer paying £70 for a standard double room which included breakfast. The room had a king size bed and a single and as we had a 4 year old in tow it was perfect. There was no extra charge for our child. The room was large with everything you would... More

Dear nelly1367 Thank you very much for your recent review. Our Facebook Offer was well-received and as you have said, our special rate of £70 for a bank holiday Sunday for two adults and a child in a large room with a king-size and a single bed was excellent value, particularly given that our deal also included full cooked breakfast.... My wife and i could only stay the one night at this brilliant hotel, due to other commitments which was a pity. The friendly attitude by all the staff in all the departments makes the Magherabuoy that bit ahead of the rest. The standard of the rooms, the meals and the cleanliness throughout is very apparent and we look forward... More

Just spent last night at the Magherabouy, (first time) It is an ideal location to explore the north coast or the whole of Northern Ireland. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the view from my room was very nice with a sea view, our evening meal and my Ulster fry was very good, the room was clean with a... More

Stayed here in February 2012 for just one night. I think it was low season for this hotel, not many other guests at all, in fact I never saw any other guests. The staff were friendly & polite. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep, just what I needed. The bath filled up in seconds no... More

Was there for a few days in the middle of the off season in a down economy, so there were very few people staying at the hotel. It is located on the edge of town at the top of the hill, with an overview all the way to the sea, not that the town of Portrush is much to look... More

Stayed at this hotel 20th Jan.'12. Supposed to be a winter warmer. Room very cold. Breakfast poor. Restaurant closed so served in the bar (bistro). Had enough after one night. Not prepared to risk the second night or the dinner. Trevor, Belfast. More

The staff are really helpful, I called from the airport in Birmingham to tell them my flight would be delayed and that I would not arrive until about midnight, the Receptionist was very helpful and arranged the check-in over the phone for my 2 day stay. I have used this hotel before and the staff are always very friendly and... More

Spent Oct weekend 2011 in this hotel and had lovely time. Hotel is very impressive, rooms spacious, clean and warm. Stayed last week with wife and two kids on a 2 night mid-week mini break. Band B basis. We were very impressed with the room - 2 x double beds and 1 x single bed & still loads of room. Clean, warm & comfortable. Staff very attentive, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was as nice as I've had at a hotel.... More
