Recently stayed with JJ and Marie, and would definitely do it again. They are friendly hosts that are knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We particularly loved breakfast, as Marie is an excellent chef. Other highlights of our stay were the fact that we had working WIFI in our room (didn't have to go... More

We have just got back from a weeks stay from the lovely Cul-Erg watching the North West 200. We have never been made to feel so welcome anywhere before and would honestly class this Bed and Breakfast more like a 5 star hotel. It is perfectly situated, the Breakfast is always perfect and Marie & JJ could never do enough... More

If you are looking for a B&B in this area this should be top of your list. Good location in Portstewart, excellent hosts, spotlessly clean, good facilities and superb food. What more can you say. Also if granny happens to be there try and kidnap her, she makes fantastic scones and soda bread. Thanks to Marie & JJ for an... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in early May 2012. We couldn’t have been more delighted with the service provided by owners J.J. and Marie. Delicious filling breakfasts whipped up by Marie, a pleasant room with en-suite and the perfect common room complete with smouldering fire and comfy leather couches to sink into while recovering from the day’s... Just returned from staying 5 nights with family at the Cul Erg and can't recommend it highly enough. The location is great just a few minutes walk from the promenade and tucked away in a quiet spot with ample free parking outside. The rooms were spotless and gave the impression of a boutique hotel with the quality of furnishings. We... More

Thank-you Darren for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. It was lovely to meet the extended family we heard Jeff talk about on his other visits. I think Sienna stole the show! She is a beautiful child and we will hopefully enjoy her company again. More

We stayed at the Cul Erg for 2 nights at the end of March while touring round Northern Ireland and Donegal and would have no hesitation in recommending or staying here again. The location is great, just yards from the promenade, our room was lovely and comfortable with everything you could ask for provided, breakfast was great with a good... More
