We had a wedding anniversary party to attend on the western outskirts of Chesterfield, and could find nothing available in that area for a single Saturday night. What luck; it forced us to widen the search as far as the Sheffield Road, and we found Acorns. It’s perfectly sited only 5-10 minutes (depending upon whether you like uphill or not)... More

What a lovely guest tucked away, within walking distance from the town centre. It was a better experience than some four and five star hotels i have stayed in in the past. The party of eight we had thought the rooms were spacious, light and clean. Will definitely be going back and will recommend it to family and friends. More

My hubbie and I stayed here as we were visiting friends in the area. We were warmly welcomed by gaynor and shown to our room. We stayed there for one night mid-September to visit Chatsworth. The room had a great size (the biggest of all our trip to England), and was very clean and well furnished. It is adequately situated close to downtown, but we still took a cab to go to the train station. Full English breakfast was served, and it was very good.... More
