I stayed for just 1 night while attending a friends wedding nearby. I was greeted with a lovely warm welcome and a fabulous room. The attention to detail in the room was second to none. We had another wonderful Easter break at Ellen House. Thank you Anne and John for making our return trip as good as the first. Wonderful breakfasts, which set us up for the day. Look forward to coming back again soon.

Thank you for this glowing review. It is good to know that you loved our breakfasts, we get our sausages and bacon from a local butcher, (they won a award for their produce last year!) so we can vouch for the quality. We were welcomed on arrival and immediately felt " at home". Our room was nicely decorated, cosy and spotlessly clean. We settled in with a cup of coffee and home made muffins that had been left for us - a lovely touch. This is by far the best B&B I have ever stayed in. My mom and I were made so welcome. Or hotel come to that. Anne and John are perfect hosts in every way. It's spotlessly clean,the food is amazing.
