My family and I stayed here for five day, we had a great time. The scenery was breath taking! The hostel itself was clean and the owners were very friendly. I would recommend going to the town carrick on shannon, it was not too far away and it was a great time, the bar we liked most was Dunnes. I... More

This hostel is a perfect place to get away from it all and yet still has plenty to offer. The hostel looks out on Lough Arrow. The lake makes for a beautiful walk or you can explore the lake by renting a rowboat. A short drive away there is the old Carrowkeel Tombs. It is a nice easy hike up... More

When we found them first, it was by chance as Sligo town hostels were booked out. We meant to stay for one night - after half a day spent there, we cancelled a booking in another place and stayed with Mary and Craig for three days. Last week was our third visit and not much changed - only the banter... More

it's been just over 2 months now since we were lucky enough to stay at arrowrock hostel. going there for a 2 night peacefull rest, before going to dublin, we found just what we were needing and more. even though the hostel was sadly hit by irelands frosty winter, the owners, craig and mary, have done an exquisite job of... In general, it was a pleasant stay in this hostel. The room we have is well-equipped. Comfortable shower and beds released my whole-day driving tiredness. Most importantly, because we are student travelers, we have budget concern and this hostel provides a very attractive price for a lakeside accommodation. The owner is also very helpful. He provided us plenty of information... More

Arrowrock Hostel is spacious and clean with comfortable bedrooms and great facilities. Set within stunning countryside and historical sights there's always lots to do or just enjoy the peace beside the lough or the gardens. The town of Boyle is only 10 minutes drive away to go for a meal, drink or stock up on supplies. The megolithic tombs are... More

This is a wonderfully warm place which oozes peace and tranquility. Set amongst stunning scenery, this hostel gives you what you'd hope for - friendly welcome, engaging hosts, interesting place to stay deep in the Sligo countryside and a really relaxing vibe. Great for an "away from it all" kind of holiday in an area rich in historical interest, yet... More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend as we were attending a wedding nearby. The owner, Mary, collected us at the train station which was great. The place was undergoing building work at the time so was quite messy but our room was fine. We were warned prior to our arrival that the work was unfinished. Bedroom and bathroom... More

My mom and I stayed at the Arrowrock Hostel a few weeks ago. The owner was very friendly and even greeted us at the car to help us in with our luggage. We had a little bit of trouble finding the place and Craig was very patient with us. The hostel has a huge kitchen, several great sitting areas, and... More
