I loved it here. Room was clean and very comfortable. Music, food, staff. were great. It's a lovely town, near the Ring of Kerry, and Sneem isn't that far away.. Sneem is a little different atmosphere, in a wonderful way. Go to Kenmare, stay at O'Donnabhains. I think you'll love it! Safe travels. More

Great room, great food, great atmosphere, great prices. Very friendly and helpful staff and the owner Jer seems to know all his guests on a personal basis. Definitely would recommend this place with no hesitations and will be staying again sometime in the future. Denis and Maire Sugrue, Castleisland. More

You can't beat the location if you want to be in the heart of the action in Kenmare. Despite being located above a pub, we did not find it noisy at all during our stay here last week. Out the front door you are steps away from shops and restaurants and this was a great "home base" from which to... More

Stayed here Saturday night, we had a room on the top floor, very spacious, nicely decorated and clean, will stay here again as its central and the staff were extremely friendly, we also a drink in the bar and it was nice and relaxed in there, the food looked good as well even though we didn't eat in there. Spacious, clean room above a Pub. Much bigger than we had expected. Its right in the centre of town so you can walk everywhere, we managed to park right outside but it was off season. No problems other than a dog. All the rooms back on to a small road and therein resides a neighbours dog whose job it was... More

My partner and I stayed here 12th-15th February 2012. We arrived after a 7 hour car journey from Belfast and this place and its staff were very friendly and check-in was efficient. Our room was cosy and warm and the breakfast area and lounge comfortable, clean and modern. Located in the centre of lovely Kenmare, its an ideal base to... More

Cramped, drab rooms with poor light. unfriendly staff (and that's if you can find anyone when you want one!). completely over priced for a place above a pub. one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had in a B&B. More

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this bar at lunchtime on New Years Day on our return journey from Kerry to Cork. There were also many similar little bars/cafes to chose from on this street. At 1pm the place was buzzing. 2 of us had the burgers which were just amazing - they were huge and very obviously home-made.... More

O'Donnabháin's is a B&B and a pub, with fantastic bar food. We stayed on a wet & windy bank holiday weekend. Our room was spacious, stylish and comfortable and lovely to come back to after a long day on the hills or on the bikes. The breakfasts were great, especially the scrambled eggs. And on one of the nights 48... More
