What a class place! Extremely clean, tastefully decorated. Large rooms By far the best place we stayed in on our 12 day trip in Ireland. Run by a professional family. What a joy.

This is a gorgeous house just a short stroll from Dingle. Our hosts could not have done more to make us feel welcome. My husband developed terrible back pain during our stay and the kindness shown to us was so appreciated. The bedroom was beautiful and the breakfast divine. Grainne booked restaurants for us and offered to have meals sent...

Because we research extensively prior to any of our trips, we have rarely been disappointed. Emlagh House exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Grainne Kavanagh, who along with her mother, is one of the owners of Emlagh Country House. From the moment we arrived, we knew that we were in for something special. The entry hall...

This is a lovely family owned small lodge that offers very personal and comfortable touches-ie., a library, a self service bar, etc. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast was fabulous-I even tried blood pudding which was good. (We're American-never tried it). The owners were helpful about attractions, but never overbearing.

We stayed in Emlagh Country House for the first time in June. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The house is absolutely stunning. The room we were given was lovely and large with a beautiful bathroom and a fabulous view over the bay where we spotted the local resident dolphin, Fungi showing off to the boats. The traditional...

This was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon in May 2009. We flew in to Shannon Airport and, against the advice of my travel agent, drove straight to Dingle. Her worry was that we would have such a long drive coming straight off a lengthy flight, but it was definitely feasible. My BIGGEST regret about our entire honeymoon...

Grainne, our host, translates into Grace in English and Emlagh is the most graceful B&B in which we have ever stayed. It could not be bettered and is within walking distance of the many excellent restaurants in Dingle. It provides an perfect base from which to explore the spectacular Dingle peninsular. Breakfasts are to gourmet level and the Baked Eggs...

Emlagh House is one of those places that is so good you don't want to tell anybody else about it in case they get too busy and you can't get a room the next time you visit ! I stayed in July 2010 and its taken this long to post the review. The place is beautiful, soft carpets, gorgeous decoration, sumptuous...

Having recently stayed in Emlagh Country House, I was very disappointed. It looks nice in the picture but overall it is an uncomfortable place to stay, you feel like an intruder. At the end of the day at 220 per night for bed and breakfast it is overpriced.

From the moment we arrived we felt that we had found something extra special and the experience was amazing. Grainne and her mum Marion made us feel so welcome. Our stay with them was all too short and look forward to a longer return visit to this magnificent house.
