We stayed ther for the Kinsale Food Festival and it was just perfect in every way. We... More

We enjoyed everything about Kinsale and Jim Edwards. Being in the middle of town all was accessible, the bars, the History and great walks. All the staff and locals were friendly and helpful, rooms very good value and the food was very wonderful indeed, especially the blackberries at breakfast. We shall return in our Motorhome, although we shall still spend... More

We have just arrived back from Kinsale and stayed at Jim Edwards, a family run establishment with the family always around - what a place!! Rooms clean, staff friendly, helpful and knowledgable both in the bar and the restaurant. The menu is great with a huge variety of choice. The breakfast was second to none with fresh fruit, porridge, fish... More

The Kinsale Food Festival is an incredible experience, a weekend of eating and drinking with the unbelievable Mad Hatters Tea Party on saturday. We stayed at Jim Edwards a most hospitable pub and restaurant with friendly staff and scrumptious food. It is ideally placed in the centre of this little town and adjacent to the harbour. If you are travelling... More

We stayed for 3 nights in October. Our room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a small TV. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel serves barmeals and also has a restaurant. Both were excellent and obviously very popular with visitors and locals alike. The best aspects were the location right in... More

We tripped upon a wonderful find! Liam made us feel so comfortable and at home. He gave us lots of tips on what to do. The B&B is over the pub and retaurant, so at times you smell the wonderful aroma of the stews - but it was not a problem. We stayed two nights in this quaint little seaside... More

Stayed here 2 nights. Decent size room and bathroom, both very clean! Restaurant and pub on location. Served a wonderful breakfast!! Very friendly staff!! Stayed during slow season, got a great rate! Right in the middle of town...which was wonderful! Street parking available throughout the area. The only downside of this location was the noise from the TV's and pub... More

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay. Our family room included a double bed, a twin bed and a baby cot. This family room had the largest bathroom of all of the places we stayed in Europe - there was even a full-size bathtub which we've come to realize is practically unheard of in Europe! Check-in was... More
