The hotel has stunning views of a lake. Rooms were comfortable; bathroom had a shower. There was wifi in the room and three different electrical plugs (UK, European, US). The lights in the bathroom were very dim, and dinner service was a bit slow, although food was good.. However, a very nice hotel overall.

Amazing hotel, stayed with a group of friends. Out of this world treatments (perfect place for a girlie break) & food was delicious if I could I'd stay there every weekend I would & we will without doubt be back -thank you to all the staff, keep up the great work😀

Have stayed in the Carlton on several occasions and have had nothing but outstanding experiences... Friendly staff, spotless rooms and amazing food. Have recently been to C Spa for treatments and it was an experience like no other.... Relaxing, professional atmosphere with extremely friendly and helpful staff... Will undoubtedly be going back soon!

Overlooking Oysterhaven Bay- this hotel boasts some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen from a Hotel room. We were obviously lucky with the weather, but as a family destination, with wonderful family 'apartments' boasting 3 rooms, good bathrooms and lots of space- highly recommended if you are thinking of a family holiday in the KInsale area.

We stayed for one night 20 May 2013, two rooms, and loved this hotel. We enjoyed the quiet location, the fantastic view and the beautiful, quiet, clean & spacious rooms. We also really enjoyed the gym and the indoor heated swimming pool. The staff were friendly at both check in and out and there was plenty of free parking.

The best, the view over the fields out of our room. A delight to wake up to. Staff were attentive. But the food was second rate, The location is out of town. If you have no car it is a 12 euro cab ride to town. The hotel has a shuttle in the evening but they charge three euros each... More
