I cannot recommend this B&B enough! Mary was a sweetheart and very accomodating. The B&B was super cute, with amazing views of the water. It's only a 15 minute drive outside of the town of Kinsale and worth the drive.

We were travelling around Ireland for about 3 weeks. During our last stop in Kinsale, we wanted to look for a quiet and "off-the-road" accommodation stay before we fly back to Singapore.
This was definitely our most wonderful stay in Kinsale for 3 nights. The most awesome experience is our room has the view of the Atlantic Ocean and we...

We stayed here for two weeks. We had a gorgeous room large and spacious, great food and the views were exceptional. Mary and Jimmy included us in like we were family. Their children were very accepting of us as well making us feel like we belonged there all the time. The festivals were going on at the time of our...

My husband and I were far from impressed by Kinsale but we LOVED staying at the Blue Horizon. It is about 10 minutes outside of Kinsale in Garrettstown and is a pub and B&B. We spent most of our nights hanging out with the locals in the pub at the B&B who were extremely friendly. We had a great time....

No need to repeat the sentiments already expressed, a great place with fantastic views. The walk down to the edge of the rocks is very nice. We were looking for a quiet stop and were a little worried about the advertised bingo/pub nights but it turned out that our night was in between the entertainment. It was peaceful and quiet,...

Likes - superb location away from civilisation, set on a rise overlooking the sea, but very convenient for getting to Kinsale and Cork. The rooms are spotless and comfortable.
Dislikes - limited hot water; the breakfast was spartan, and the wooden blinds in the bedroom were hopeless at one of their main functions which is to keep the light out....

The Blue Horizon is a lovely B & B right on the coast outside of Kinsale. The rooms are very nice and we had a great view as well. We had a fabulous meal at the Speckled Door just a few minutes down the road and then went back to the pub at the B & B which was filled...

The Blue Horizon B&B and Bar is beautifully located on a cliff overlooking the ocean, near the beach of Garretstown, close to Kinsale, co Cork, Ireland. It is run by a lovely and very hard working family, who provide a feasty breakfast in the morning and work in the bar in the evening. We stayed for four days in a...

We stayed at the Blue Horizon last weekend for three nights and had a fabulous time. The Blue Horizon is a great place to stay if you want to explore the magnificent coast line of South East Ireland and we jam packed our days easily. Mary is a lovely host and was very generous with her directions and tips for...
