The location on the shore of Caragh lake is very pleasant (even if the nearby Ard na Sidhe small hotel is far better). The staff and management were friendly. This was our favorite place to stay, due in no small measure to the graciousness of our hosts, Mary and Graham. We arrived at the lodge the night before the Eurocup Soccer final. Gorgeous house in a stunning location with friendly hosts, Graham & Mary, who make you feel incredibly welcome in their home (although more of a country house hotel).
