I wholeheartedly recommend Keldun House. We were greeted with smiles, treated to a comfortable stay, and sent off with a hearty and tasty breakfast. Tarbert also features a nice restaurant and a friendly pub.

We got the last ferry across from Clare, planning to cycle on to Glin to find that there was a festival and everywhere was booked. The Kelleher family made room for us and we were extremely grateful. Great hospitality and genuine friendliness. Lovely bright breakfast room.

Just the ticket after a day in the car, we were heading for Clare and stopped in the village for the night, local pubs friendly, (restaurant in the village was good) rooms were spotlessly clean, beds comfy, the breakfast was everything an Irish breakfast should be!

We ended in Tarbert after a long bicycle ride. In Main Street we asked the locals where to stay. Their answer was unanimus "Keldun House", because the owners are very freindly people. And indeed they are very friendly, ask anything and they try to make you happy!!

A beautiful home, gracious hosts. Spacious room. Pat & Bernadette treat you like friends: wine on the deck, access to the kitchen and parlors, good conversations.
