Driving through Bantry from Mizen Head in SW Cork making our way to Dingle we stopped for lunch in Bantry. We read about O'Connor's and parked there in the heart of town but O'Connor's seemed closed at lunch so we went next door to the pub in the Bantry Bay Hotel. I don't remember the details but I do know... More

WE stayed at this family run hotel in May. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. It was nice to talk to local staff who had a good knowledge of local and surrounding areas to visit. The food was delicious, an excellent menue with great choices, including Gluten Free. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. We... More

Super hotel, great value for money and right in the centre of town. Fantastic family run hotel with helpful and friendly staff, we ate in the bar and the food was really really good - can't speak more highly of it and would definitely return.

Thank for a memorable night recently in May with Jimmy Crowley & Steve Cooney - the most intimate of musical nights we have experienced in a while. The musical room was exactly as Jimmy described , a magical tavern of old and the sound was very special in it. Their range of songs and instruments and the history told behind... More

I was at a wonderful concert on Friday last in the Bantry Bay Hotel. The venue was absolutely beautiful. Candles around the oak panelled wall, with the musicians at top of the room surrounded by antique boats and ship lanterns. A wonderful night of Irish music, sad ballads and hilarious stories and songs. I returned the next day for lunch... More

This hotel in Bantry Bay Ireland has great rooms, great price, a good restaurant and wonderful front desk service by Margaret. The included breakfast was excellent. Convenient location on the waterfront and near major attractions such as Bantry Manor House. Easy parking.

This is a family run hotel and very friendly, all of the staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms are old fashioned but were spotless - very 1980s/90s decor and the common areas had been recently painted. You can't beat the location and Bantry is a lovely town to stroll around and to base yourself for trips around West... More

We stayed at this hotel in April. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We were also very satisfied with the bar food. The breakfast was freshly cooked, and the hotel also catered for one of the party, who was on a gluten free diet, with gluten free bread etc. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable....
