My friends and i had the pleasure of staying three nights at Lisdoon Lodge in August. Bernie and Oliver were the ideal hosts- nothing was too much for them. The accommodations were lovely and the breakfast was the best in all of Ireland! An ideal location for so many sights , yet far enough removed to rejuvenate for the next... More

The location is about 1/2 mile walk from town square - uphill and downhill - so good exercise. Our room was very nice, clean. Bed comfortable, bath bright and functional. The view from windows is rural and pretty, hills and fields, mountains in the distance. Eggs come from their own chickens in the back yard. The breakfast is outstanding -... More

Went to Lisdoonvarna to experience the Match Making Festival, that goes for the month of September. The 2012 festival started on Friday, August 31. The Lisdoon Lodge was a clean well managed B&B. Ollie and Bernie are great hosts. The breakfast served, both mornings, was excellent. The lodge is about a 10 minute walk to the town center and you... More

When we decided to return to Ireland for our vacation, my husband insisted that we stay at the Lisdoon Lodge for at least two nights again this year. Bernie and Ollie are excellent hosts! The breakfast is delicious and filling, made with eggs from their chickens. The location is not very close to town but is perfect for day trips... More

My wife, son and I stayed at Lisdoon Lodge B+B a few days ago. Our first impression were that this is a much larger B+B than normal and appeared to be purpose-built for B+B rather than the more standard B+B, where the owners of the home rent out a few rooms. It is run by Ollie and Bernie Connolly. We... More

We stayed here for 1 night in June with 2 of our friends whilst doing a roadtrip around Ireland. This is a big B&B, almost bordering on a hotel. Both of our bedrooms were immaculately clean & comfortable with TV, hospitality tray & a large bathroom although the room itself was small. Our friends room was noticeably bigger than ours... More

Amazing breakfast feast. Friendly hosts. Minutes from the town itself. Rooms small but clean and comfortable.

Beautiful immaculate rooms, and breakfast was outstanding/delicious/gourmet! We appreciated the available parking, and the easy walk to town center.

This was our first experience with staying at a B&B and it was wonderful. Our hosts, Bernie and Ollie, made our 5-day stay memorable. All pictures posted online accurately depicted the well cared for and immaculate facilities. The breakfast choices were many (salmon, full Irish, pancakes, potato waffles, etc.) and the food was delicious. Eggs came from the chickens kept... More

Was subjected to bad language and was manhandled, pushed and shoved by an owner (Paul) with a glass of wine to fortify him. Unforgettably bad experience. Ruined the trip. Had to make official complaint to the local Gardai.
