Enjoyed lunch - goog food @ good value. Nice friendly staff - willing to help. It was good enough for Charlie Chaplin! More

Just back after an over night in the Butler Arms Waterville & had a great night. I had booked on the internet a few weeks ago but when we pulled up outside I was a bit disappointed the outside of the building doesn't do it any favours a lick of paint is well overdue and would definitely attract more clients... Thanks you very much for your lovely comments, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Butler Arms. We know that the outside of the building needs to be repainted because of our seafront location we are open to severe damage from the elements, you will be happy... More

Had a meal at the "Fisherman's" Pub, expected typical pub fare but was pleasantly suprised by the great quality and service. Hand cut fries (chips) beautifully battered fresh fish and very reasonably priced. More

Stayed in Waterville prior to Easter and most restaurants were closed. But four of us ate in the Butlers for a birthday meal. Not an extensive menu, but lots of varietyusing local produce with good wines and pleasant and efficient service. More

We stayed at the Butler Arms Hotel in Waterville for only 1 night on Easter Weekend this year and I wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was so warm and friendly right when we walked in the door. Check in was easy and did not take long at all. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view... More

Stayed in the Butler Arms hotel last night for one night and it was fantastic!! It was my sons 1st birthday and he was made a huge fuss of with a chocolate cake to die for, which I believe was made by Betty ! From the moment we checked in we had a lovely relaxing stay. The hotel is a... More

This hotel was very nice and had a great view, but seemed to cater mostly to senior citizens. The town was nice but did not have a lot to offer besides a gorgeous view of the Ring of Kerry coast. The hotel does not have a guest internet log on and someone from the hotel needed to type in a... More

We had such a lovely weekend in this fantastic warm and friendly, family run hotel. It has an old fashioned elegance which made us feel most comfortable and a part of the family, which is lacking from the majority of modern hotels. The food is excellent, especially the fresh fish straight from the sea. The staff are so amicable, helpful... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in the lovely village of Waterville. We were supposed to keep going on the Ring to Kenmare but as we drove through Waterville, we were so impressed with this beautiful village that we decided to stop and check out the accommodation in the area, where we came across the Butler... On arrival we thought it could use a paint job as the overall picture looked rather shabby, but we decided to trust the 4 star rating and proceed. I have stayed in run down looking hotels before but they normally sometimes are full of character or sometimes can have great facilities such as spa/jim and pool facilities to boost their... More

Dear Dessie, After reading your review I am truly disappointed as I was on the morning of your departure.
