Great place, within walking to TOURIST office and one of the best castles around. The castle was clean, had a tour guide, many visuals and a video. One of the best castles around and on a river. Really enjoyed a weekend in the Cahir House hotel - everyone was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is very comfortable - nice restaurant and good craic in the bar. The Spa was really good too. Overall - great value for money. More

Second visit for a formal dinner and again all was in good order, the rooms could do with updating but are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine and served to your table, top marks for traditional hotel service here, plenty of free car parking at the rear of the hotel. More
