This is the best place we stayed while in Ireland. Beautiful surroundings, clean lodging and friendly owners. You definitely need to rent a car if you're staying here but it is so gorgeous. Completely worth it. The breakfast was huge and delicious, the best we had on our trip. The bed was large and comfy with plenty of pillows. It... More

Owners Conor and Margaret are wonderful hosts and they cook a mean breakfast! The rooms are spacious, comfy, clean, and have wonderful views of the Ballyvaughan countryside. Conor and his wife were very helpful in helping us plan our stay and get around the surrounding area. More

We weren't really sure about staying in Ballyvaughan. We couldn't seem to learn much about the town, but it worked best on our itinerary. Were we ever glad we did! Cappabhaile House is a beautiful facility. The room and common areas were all elegantly decorated and spotless. Our hosts, the Faheys, were charming. Our room had a huge bath and... More

Our group of four spent two nights at cap house in early May. The room was well furnished, the bed comfortable… and the view out the window: rolling hills, curious livestock, and a castle! Each morning our hosts served breakfast, and they seemed determined to make us put on some weight. :-) But the best part of the stay was... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on a driving holiday in Ireland and was our favorite B&B that we stayed in. We arrived late and tired, and they were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We felt at home. The room was big, the view was beautiful of the mountains and farms out back. The... More

I stayed here in March of 2012 and it was perfect in every way. Conor and Margaret are amazing. Very accomodating to me and very generous in sharing their extensive local knowledge. I was in the area visiting my daughter who was studying at the local art college so I stayed for several nights. The breakfast was outstanding every morning,... More

The hosts (Conor and Margaret) are just amazing. Upon checking in, Conor generously provided us with various books of his regarding local areas (i.e., The Burren, Dolmen Tomb, etc...) since we just got back from visiting them on our way to Cappabhaile. The breakfast choices were by far the best (and filling!) during our travels throughout Ireland and easily beat... More

Spent my 10th visit to the Burren at Cappabhaile House again. Had some great walks, and wonderful exploring into areas that were, at one time, ancient settlements. With Conor's historical knowledge, and Margaret's wisdom and warmth, I've never had a better place to stay, and I'll be back as often as I can. I'm hoping to get my niece and... More

The hosts, Conor and Margaret, are wonderful! The Cappabhaile House is a terrific place to stay. My husband, kids, and in-laws stayed a few nights last month. The rooms were spotless, the breakfasts were delicious (and HUGE!). Everything about this B&B was perfect - if I could give a rating of 10 stars, I would! More
