Really good food and a very friendly place. Best views in Ennistymion. Highly recommend if you are nearby, whether for a meal or just a coffee. Didn't stay, but if the accommodation is only half as good as the restaurant, it's worth staying too More

The front part of this restaurant is really nicely decorated, there's a real bistro feel to it. There's a nice terrace overlooking the river if you were ever lucky enough to get some sunny weather. We visited on a quiet bank holiday Monday. The service was very slow even though there were only two other people in the restaurant. The... More

Hello Broni, My name is Conor, I am the manager in Byrne's Ennistymon. Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you did not completely enjoy your experience in Byrne's. All of our food is cooked to order rather than prepared in advance and the vast majority of our vegetables come into the kitchen fresh every morning from... More

This place is a hidden gem on you road trip around Ireland. Lovely characterful rooms, a warm and friendly welcome with nothing being too much trouble and breathtaking tumbling waters at the back of the property. We visited out of season but we didn't care, the food menu was STUNNING and such great value, a 3 course meal, with inventive... More

Out of season, Ennistymon is quiet, so we were not surprised to be on our own. The waiter was helpful and informative about the food and local area. Somewhat burnt creme brûlée, but criticism taken well! More

Visited here on a busy Saturday. Had fish cake to start - fish cake was tepid, if it had been warm it would of been much better. Main course of Sea Bass - again the food was tepid. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again if it had been warmer it would of been great!! Had dessert of creme brule..it's... More
