Great location and quiet relaxed atmosphere. Good food, wine and beer. Good service. Great spot for lunch overlooking Ennistymon Falls rom the balcony terrace. Good choice of starters and desserts. Book ahead in high season.

Ate here recently with 2 friends , staff were welcoming and really friendly , particularly Richard who I think is the proprietor . Good wine selection - they also sell wine to go , reasonably priced and really good home cooked food . Will be back , well done .

We stayed at Byrnes on spec. Great view of the magnificent falls from our room - and the roar to go with it. Very good, wholesome food and delightful owner/staff justifying 5 star billing even if rooms above are a little "underdone". Can also recommend Cooley's House for a quiet(?) drink with spontaneous music.
