What a fab place, lovely accommodation, super king size bed, large fluffy towels, very friendly hosts, superb breakfasts, what more could you want? So sorry that it was just an overnight stay, will definitely be back - the sooner the better.

This is an amazing place just over the Scottish border.
Set in a stunning location on the River Annan, the views from the rooms are stunning.
The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, with a super kingsize bed too.
Our hosts Heather and Martin were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, add to this...

We are Canadians and were on our way from the Lakes District to Inverness. We stayed one night at Riverside Mill Bed and Breakfast on Oct 3, 20102, and if we’d had the time, would have liked to extend our visit by a day or two. The room was clean and a good size, the king size bed huge, the...

we have just returned home from riverside and even after i think 4/5 visits its still as enchanting as it was the first time. We stayed at Riverside Mill for one night to break the journey from the Highlands to the Midlands, and one night just wasn't enough. It was a bit tricky to find but well worth the effort. The location is spectacular, peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast was divine. I had a little chat with the very contented-looking chickens who laid...

What a welcome after a horrid journey from the Midlands on our way to Loch Fyne. Heather and Martin were so welcoming, and the room was warm and cosy on a very rainy night. The views are amazing and the wild life very entertaining. Wonderful breakfast and the walk along the river with Martin in the morning set us up...

A1 service from Heather & Martin, we couldn't stay too long we don't think our waistlines could take it the food including the coffee was was excellent. We look forward to seeing you both very soon. Many thanks Shaun & Di
We stayed at Riverside Mill for only one night on our way back to England from the north of Scotland, but it really merits a longer stay. The position is outstanding - right on the wide river Annan, with red squirrels to watch while you have breakfast, herons and swans on the water, and lovely walks straight from the house....
