We stayed here for two nights in our camper van. Medium sized site and large pitches, we backed onto stream. Site not lit after dark, so a torch is needed to visit toilet and shower block. Facilities adequate, but tired and scruffy. We booked a wine tasting tour with Bubbly Grape Wine Tours, but thought all the wines tasted the... More

Such a shame, the site has so much potential but it falls so short. Investment is needed to up date the showers and toilets or at very least clean, clean, clean. It is over priced for what is provided and has a feel that any maintenance and investment has stopped. We had powered site, and the campsite was quiet even... More

We stopped off in Blenheim for the night to join up with a wine tour and chose Spring Creek as it was the cheaper than Top 10. When we arrived we were given a friendly welcome by the lady on reception and directed to hard standing as part of the site was a bit boggy. This worked out fine as... More

This park charges similar rates to other holiday parks in the area but offers facilities that we judged to be far below standard. We found the basic cabin to be dirty, old, and worn; we found the nagging signs to be off-putting and unwelcoming (don't do this, don't do that, this isn't allowed, this is prohibited); and, we thought the... The cabins are made out of block work with low ceilings, gives you the feel your in a bunker with no windows, signs all over the place that your not allowed to cook or even eat in your own rooms, communal kitchen which is very unclean underneath in the cupboards, the pool is old & very shallow like a school... We stayed here in our caravan for 4 nights in February. The holiday park is approx. 5-10 mins drive north of Blenheim just off the main highway. The park is showing some signs of aging and the ablutions blocks dated but relatively clean and well stocked. The surroundings are peaceful and pretty. There are ample powered sites some of which... One adult and child below 5 for $28 on powered site was not what I expected to pay for the value received. Place was shabby looking and toilets need a makeover. I stood there looking at the rates pasted in the office and found that hv paid more than I should by about 2 or 3 bucks! That's ok if... More

A very family feeling camp ground.....just relaxed and laid back. Beautiful spot near the river, with a large trout and loads of huge eels. Our powered site was sheltered and spacious. We have been here 3 times now and always love it. There is a basic playground, and in summer a pool. Sure, not flash, but for just $30 a... More

filthy - broken window catch - ripped sheet - cold - only one plug - noisey - kitchen dirty - bathrooms (super yuck and unclean and cold and you have to pay for the shower) - the list goes on. Would NOT recommend.

Not good value at $70NZ (down for $80. Trucks thundered along the road all night and the loo dripped water continuously. The sink tiny that water accumulated on the floor. You needed a pair of pliers to pull the plug out of the sink. The only good ready light was in the toilet. A notice said ‘No food was to... More
