We had a very nice, very spacious room, comfortable bed, gracious and very helpful hosts. The views from there are exquisite in every direction. We could walk into Doolin for the pub action in the evenings. We loved our stay at the Aran View!

Doolin is a town with a population of a couple hundred people. Why stay here? Because it is nestled on the Irish coast next to the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran islands - which are spectacular Irish landscapes! Hiking the Cliffs of Moher from one end to to the other end and back takes around 4 hours, wear proper... More

Doolin doesn't have many choices as hotels are concerned, it has dozens of B&Bs though. As I was travelling without a car, I chose Aran View and Bus Eirean does stop right at the corner. I arrived about 3:00 p.m. and as it was a sunny day I tried to do a boat tour to see the Moher Cliffs. So,... More

My husband and I have visited Ireland many times. Our favorite place is Doolin - and our favorite place to stay is the Aran View Hotel. We have stayed there with my Mother and sisters a few times - more recently my husband and I have stayed there. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable. The owners, Sharon in particular, are... The Aran View is THE place to stay in County Clare! Warm Irish hospitality from the Linnane family, bright, airy well appointed rooms, and beautiful views of the sea. I first stayed at the Aran View in May 2009. I was traveling alone, and as luck would have it, so was a beautiful Japanese woman. We struck up a casual... More

I stayed there a few years after a wedding in the hotel, the food was very 60th style, and the poor chef was not too impressed when we were not looking at his" Baked Alaska". love Doolin, and great craic in the pubs at night. the hotel was very friendly, and clean. enjoyed the stay, lovely place to relax after... We stayed here in May. I was not quite sure what to expect of the place before we arrived. It was very well-appointed and we had quite a large room for the money we paid. It was almost more like a suite than a hotel room. It reminded me of the kind of hotel you would see in a BBC... More

My husband and I went to Ireland for our 29th anniversary. While my husband had never been to Ireland, I had been to Doolin and stayed at the Aran View 35 years ago. I was amazed at how much the area has grown, including the hotel. It is run by the same family that ran it 35 years ago, and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in early October. We arrived early and was allowed to get into our room right away. Sharon the owner was gracious, friendly and was able to answer all our questions. The room was clean and well appointed. The town of Doolin is a great place to base any trip to west coast of Ireland .... More

The Aran View surprised me! I thought I picked a less quaint almost stuffy place over your typical B&B ; but it was perfect! The rooms are furnished with beautiful classic well made furniture with all the comforts -- it was always warm, comfortable and plenty of hot water with good pressure! If you want privacy with the best of... More
