Clean hotel, friendly and accommodating staff. Nice and quiet location. Thanks to Jay and Kaylee for the smooth check in and check out. Hotel is conveniently located near bus stations, National Stadium (which was the main reason I came to Singapore) and places to eat.

Rooms are very small, if there is 2 people in the room with luggage then you cannot get around the bed, bathroom is also very small, you can sit on the toilet brush your teeth and have a shower at the same time. Only room for one person at a time, place is very clean as you would expect being only just fully renovated

Great hospitality - very friendly & helpful front desk. Jay & Celvin were great hosts and made the trip even more memorable. They helped us with almost all the questions we had as a tourist and were super courteous all the time. Cheers to the entire front desk staff of Hotel 81 Palace.

A great budget hotel which has been recently refurbished. Very clean and tidy. The staff are really friendly and helpful (special mention to Kaylee & Jay). They printed off some travel documents for us and provided extra pillows for our room. The rooms are spotless. All have kettle, tea & coffee. Bed very comfortable and bathroom functional. There are no onsite facilities such as bar or dining options although there are plenty of eating and drinking options in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is absolutely fine even though other visitors have put negative comments on with it being a red light area. The nearest MRT is Aljunied which is a 6/7 minute walk and from here you can easily access all Singapore has to offer. Recommended.

The place is near to MRT Aljuneed Station, 2 blocks-- easy to reach, not scary to walk even at night, there are nearby hawker places scattered along the way. Each room comes in with water kettle boiler, heater and also a hair blow dryer. There's also a small, real small fridge. the Nice clean place and good service! The hotel area environment is safe and decent even at night, considering Geylang is near to red light district establishments

Room was nice for a solo traveler. I stayed in single room that came with two beds that were comfy. The bathroom is a bit small but it did the job. There wasn’t a view but the room was great for money spent. The people at the front desk were both warm and welcoming.

Good hotel. But a little bit unlucky because of the coldplay concert the price was soaring. Overall the staff is very friendly, the place is clean, near to MRT (10 mins walk), easy to find food around, and if you’re an adult man there is something that might interests you around of the hotel.
