Had Sunday Lunch at The Gwystre 31/07/2011. From starter to dessert we couldn't fault the quality of the food....we found the pub to have plenty of rustic charm, was cheap and cheerful and the people serving very polite/welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody wanting a great Sunday dinner.
The food here is excellent, we have not stayed here but as the people who work here are all lovely and friendly I would happily stay here, Sunday roast is great here, and we were amazed at the wide choice of meals available during the week.
We arrived on time, the barman gave us our key and just told us where our room was, "upstairs on the left", went into the room, very basic not very clean. having our teenage son with us, we were asked to bring an airbed for him which we did, but there was no bedding so off I go downstairs to...

The Gwystre Inn had a welcoming feel to it on arrival, the pub was buzzing with activity, even though we arrived at a "quiet time". The landlord who had recently taking over the running of the pub was welcoming and "down to earth". The room was good value for the money, but the plus was the fantastic english breakfast cooked...
