Stayed here weekend of 10-11- 12 May as part of a Re-Union. Lovely clean hotel with good food and drink. Polite and friendly staff who seemed to be on a personal mission to make our stay enjoyable which they succeeded in doing. nicest hotel stay for ages.

Enjoyed spending 2 nights here in April. King size room had comfy bed, was clean and bathroom has spa bath and good selection of toiletries. Good very good - very generous on portions - and service relaxed but efficient. Good wine list and range of beers and whiskies. Would go back.

Wanted a B&B on our way back from our holiday with somewhere to have a evening meal. Wow what a fantastic find. Booked with late rooms and got the king size room for a bargain price. Gorgeous little place worth staying at if you're passing through. Lovely warm service, beautiful wholesome food, vast array of drinks, extremely comfortable bedroom & not too expensive. Can't say more than that really, other than we'd definitely return.

I went for the first time on Saturday night with amazing company. The food (the Oak Tree Burger) was amazing, great beer and a brilliant atmosphere, cant wait to go back :-) Going back this weekend and taking some family as I know they will love it to. Peaceful village location. It has a friendly and evidently popular bar, separate relaxing restaurant, bedrooms (like rest of inn) fitted out to very high standard; If you like a large whirlpool bath you will not be disappointed. Large welcoming cotton sheeted bed. And in case you forgot you were in GOC a complimentary Yorkie bar in the room.

We arrived to find it very busy and our table hidden round the back of the bar, however this made no difference to the standard of service. We all ate of the set Mothers Day menu and no one was disappointed, lovely food and excellent service with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We will return
