Got a free upgrade to huge family sized room. Clean and airy but mattress was really old. Common room is nice place to hang out, food was good. Hosts are friendly and helpful and good for advice. It was nice to spend 2 nights in the rainforest listening to the birds. Watch out for the frogs on the way back... More

This place is so nice, everybody is warm and friendly. Just love the vibe. Of course, location is great..beach is only few mins away. They have their own trail. Many tours to be offered. Love the no lock policy in dorm rooms. Thank you Steve, will visit again.

We did not stay at Crocodylus but we did participate in the Jungle Night Walk hosted here. This night walk was led by a very friendly Aussie by the name of "Possum". He was informative and very observant. Although we did not see many mammals that evening we did see many frogs, spiders, snails and learned about the local flora... More

These cabins are set in the rainforest so there is a lovely outlook from your room and it is very natural with many birds calls and other rainforest sounds. With the rainforest also comes the critters so don't be alarmed if a toad jumps on your foot as you walk back to your cabin at night. I stayed in April... More

We stayed for 2 nights in early May – a really excellent experience. As you will see from the other reviews, Sally and Steve are excellent hosts – full of useful information and extremely friendly. The bar/restaurant is a great spot after dark but the real star attraction is the forest – you are in it, not just looking at... More

this place is so special, set in the middle of the rainforest, yet accessible by the main road, heaps of wildlife and fantastic home cooked food (available really cheap with massive portions!). We loved the Crocodylus experience, from the night-time jungle exploration with the very knowledgeable Possum to the stunning sunrise sea kyak with Steve to find turtles and see the fringe reef. Not to mention the fantastic meals and hospitality provided by owners Sally and Steve. The best beach in Australia is beautiful, clean and peaceful Cow Bay! If you've not... More

Crocodylus provided us with 3 nights of relaxation and nature loving. Owners Sally and Steve gave us all the relevant info for exploring and even booked our tours for us which we paid with our accomodation at the end. Steve runs a beautiful and relaxing sunset kayaking experience and Possum runs the night walk with so much knowledge, both our... More

Sally & Steve welcomed us and invited us to make ourselves at home. We stayed in a fully contained cabin with shower & toilet; had fun sleeping under the mosquito net. It rained heavily at night and we got an authentic rainy season experience! Even though it was really wet, there was still plenty of relaxing & low stress activities.... More
