We stayed at Hovden Høyfjellshotell during winter holiday and I must say we had some great days there. A lot of snow and primarily outdoor activities like cross country skiing, slalom, snowboarding etc. The hotel is surrounded by proper ski facilities like the cross country tracks that are continuously maintained from early in the morning. Travelling with a small coach party of people we arrived and were provided with a key card to our room. On opening the door it was found to be occupied so a long trek back to reception and eventually provided with another room. “Comfortable hotel”

Hovden hotel offers a good alternative besides many holiday cabins in this area. It is comfortable and you don't have to prepare the food or clean the house. Just relax and enjoy your holidays. I have been in this hotel many times due to my business trips. It is a perfect place also to meet the customers. More

The hotel has made a good choice with not putting out photos of the hotel rooms on the web page, but even when I emailed and asked if I could have a photo of it, they just replied "The rooms are big and modern"- WHAT A LIE! They look AWFULL and you feel like on a old cruice ship! The... More
