I booked 3 rooms in the ECU hotel in Genk but was contacted one day before arrival by a very friendly staffmember if we would mind to change to the M Hotel at the same rate because of a big group staying in the ECU. Despite the average comments on tripadvisor, I did agree. At arrival, the guy at the... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your stay in our hotel. We acquired the M hotel about two months ago and we are going to restyle it completely. By the time we finish the renovation works the hotel will have a homelike atmosphere and it will be the ideal dining location. In the meantime we... More

A very comfortable hotel both in facilities and atmosphere. Ideally located with parkland to the rear and the shopping centre immediatley in front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Superb, but expensive, buffet breakfast overlooking the lake. The town has many good restaurants within esay walking distance. More

I stayed here purely for business reasons. The hotel is comfortable, good spacious room with excellent bathroom facilities. The continental breakfast offers a wide variaty of choices and is very good. WiFi is expensive. You can park the car for free on the public parking next to the hotel from 18:00 till the next morning. Genk is a pretty little town, and the nh genk hotel has a great location within it, set beside a lovely lake. The rooms were adequate, with everything you could need. The staff were very pleasant. quick to check in and out. breakfast is way overpriced, but there are many options in town to choose from. I would stay here... More

Driving from Germany to the UK, we wanted somewhere reasonably priced but quite nice to break the journey. Genk seemed to fit the bill. Location. Fairly easy to find, not far off the E314. Almost right in Genk city centre, just across the road is the main shopping centre, walk through it and you will get to the town square.... More

Booked this hotel because it was an NH, it was on the route and the price was good. However the hotel is quite shabby. It feels a bit dirty and run down. The air conditioning didn't work (mentioned it to the receptionist, who answered "There is no aircon, the dials on the walls don't work". The dimmable lights had energy... More

We stayed here for two nights - on the way and on the way back from Germany. It was really clean ( the bathrooms were faultless) and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. The bar staff were really friendly and all spoke English. We had a... More

Just had 3 nights in this hotel and found it to be a great place. Front of house staff were excellent and most helpful, all spoke perfect english which is good as my flemish is very rusty!! Nice breakfast as well although a little pricey, a cheaper cafe straight across the road if you were on a budget. Free car... More

We stayed here on two overnight stops as part of a tour group. The reception was well organised. The room was quite large, clean and well equipped. We only ate breakfast here - this was very good with a wide range of choices. Behind the hotel there is a lake with a path around. The hotel has a bar-cafe terrace... More

the hotel is located in the citycentre Genk. It's across a shoppingcentre and a park with a beautiful lake. From the outside the hotel looks old and dusty, inside it's quite modern. The rooms are large and clean. Good beds! When you book from saturday to sunday, you can check-out late. The breakfast was good. I think the hotel needs... More
