Kolding is just one-hour drive from the Danish/German border, Danfoss-Universe, the West Coast, Givskud Zoo, Legoland amusement parks, Aros Kunstmuseum with Rainbow Panorama in Aarhus and The Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense. The municipality is also a part of the East Jutland and just two-hour drive to Copenhagen over the 18 km long bridge across The Great Belt Bridge to Zealand for a visit in Tivoli and Nyhavn. Kolding hostel is located in green surroundings in the northern part of the town, a 10-minute walk from the town centre. The location of the hostel is considerably elevated, overlooking Koldinghus Castle, the castle lake, the harbour and the fjord.DANHOSTEL Kolding was built in 1938, but has been modernised several times, with large comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, dining room with panoramic views and cozy guest kitchen. It is a beautiful black wooden house with a red tiled roof. Today a modern hostel with a historical touch.
