Stayed in the new wing of hotel rooms on a business trip and was shocked to find the design included a glass wall between the bathroom and bed...two glass walls around the toilet. Needed a short haul stay over in Chennai prior to catching an international flight following night. My kids enjoyed the seaside cottage, the enjoyable pool(with kid's play area) and the beach itself. the property is well suited for rejuvenating yourself.

There are two types of accommodations at this location, hotel rooms in the main building and cottages nearer the seashore. I had a room in the main building, while not as quaint as a cottage, it had a far better view of the ocean. It has been rated as 5 stars. However, I cannot consider it more than 3 stars. If you have to visit Chennai - India for business, it is your best option.
