Unlike some other reviewers here, we enjoyed the eccentricity of the hotel which although slightly old fashioned, was clean, quiet, comfortable and we thought the owner was witty and hospitable. He directed us to the Bellview Restaurant on the river bank, just around the corner where we were warmly welcomed. This was the best meal of our 17 day holiday....
