A nice clean, typical local Spanish hotel on the top of the hiil. Terrace rooms are a must for the view. Local restaurants close by. Getting up there is not an easy task if you drive. This was a great choice for us. A spotless end room with amazing views of the countryside below. Hotel El Convento also has a lot of character as a Spanish Inn. We would gladly stay here again. For a 2-star hotel in Spain, we were very happy with the accommodations. We stayed in Room 11 which is named for a famous Spanish poet (which eludes me now - FYI, there is also a Rick Steves room). We enjoyed our room with a view and the staff was very helpful. There is a computer for hotel guests to use. And, the hotel is locaed right next to the convent. In the morning you buy biscuits and cookies from the nuns! A really nice place to stay. No complaints at all. More
