This is not a 5 star hotel, but that said, it is really a great place to stay. The rooms are quiet, very clean, large with free internet connecction. Some rooms come with a fireplace, and the rooms on the first floor open up to a terasse and the lawn leading to the beach 20 meters away. The location cannot... More

When we arrived we asked for a baggage trolley. A very unpleasant woman in the reception told us they had no such thing and with face turned away from us gave us the key. Nice 70's Danish design furniture. Beautiful location and views from the room. Bathroom curtain not properly fixed, shower battery missed pieces so difficult to work. Bathroom... More

With the rain we had in Ebeltoft we were thankful to have a private, covered deck with a view of the ocean. We went across the street to the foto grocery store, bought some red wine, cheese, crackers, fresh strawberries and massive green peas that were fantastic. A nice, relaxing evening was exactly what we needed. The shower was the... More

This hotel pretends to be a **** and advertises a spa and comfortable rooms. The reality are worn out rooms with 70ies furniture, disgusting bathrooms and a closed pool area. We did not use the sauna because we were repelled by the dirty changing rooms. The staff is arrogant, we even had to make our own beds. To be fair,... More

We arrived in beginning of July and stayed for 3 nights. We hadn't booked a room in advance but got a nice hotel-room on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the sea. The receptionist was really helpful and service-minded. We needed an extra bed in the room for my 7 year old son which they provided us with.... More

We stayed three nights here and we never got used to sleeping in a cupboard. The rooms had fabulous sea views but the beds were the type that fold up into a frame on the wall (how weird). The pool was great but the hotel decor, all painted brick and exposed services is a bit basic for our taste. The... More

We really enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel. After the hussle and bussle of central Copenhagen, this place was idyllic. The building is low-rise spread over a huge area, which means all of the rooms face the sea, all have a terrace, and the ground floor rooms open directly onto a huge grassy garden which leads down to... One of the best attributes of this hotel is its excellent location and good views: all rooms face the sea! The hotel is very open and exposed and does not have gardens or grounds which is a shame. The rooms are fine: somewhat dated but the beds are very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and we were lucky... More

Attractive 1970's, almost retro-design hotel situated directly at the water's edge with a fantastic view across the bay. As this view is west-facing, it means you get glorious sunsets from the panorama window in your room or from the restaurant. Hotel is clean and friendly - functional but good value for money. For visitors from UK, the hotel is only... More

After 3 days at The Legoland Hotel in Billund the family moved north to stay near a beach. Our 3 days at the Ebeltoft Strand hotel were near idyllic. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was leisurely and served in a beautiful dining room with original artworks and ornaments available to buy. The hotel's indoor swimming pool... More
