Staying in the Salobre resort for a few days and decided to go to the Sheraton for dinner. The hotel is architectually stunning and uber cool, but the service in the main a'la carte service was very poor.

We stayed here for a week and loved everything about the place. From the glass of cava at check in to the personal service we got from the staff we really had a perfect holiday. It was so peaceful with no rushing for sun loungers etc as we always got beds no matter what time we went to the pool....

Had a quick weekend away in Gran Canaria and stayed at the Sheraton near Maspalomas.
The hotel is about 30mins from the airport and costs about EUR50 to get there by taxi.

To really enjoy this hotel you need:
- a car, the hotel is far from the sea and the good restaurants. But if you have a car you are near some nice beaches in 5 mins, and some great restaurants ( Porto Rico , Puerto de Mogan,...) in 20 mins.

Overall this resort offers you the chance to unwind in almost guaranteed sunshine. I write this review at the hotel - poolside.

A piece of heaven on a island. A very relaxing and comfortable hotel. Absolutley nothing to complain about. Some might think that the location is a little bit off but there is a free shuttle the bus station close to the beach. They also have nice beach house for their guests.
