We stayed last year for 10 days and returned again this June for another 10 day stay. A truly unique hotel offering peace and tranquility in an amazing setting. It is 5 stars but not worth 3 stars. The location is unique, but they need a major facelift and refurbishment. Everything is out of date. Even the staff. It is depressing indeed and shameful to stay there in that hotel. The food is not fresh and not presentable. Daylight robbery to stay and eat there.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, there are two lovely resident cats, and the facilities, food and amenities are all excellent. Superb hotel with stone villas (trulllos), three swimming pools (one heated indoor / outdoor), spa, lucious food with great service. Walk by the sea on stony paths through prehistoric stone ruins. Convenient to the rest of historic Gozo. We never wanted to leave, and will return. Our stay was incredible.
