Everything is so relaxed in this part of Bali. The people are great, friendly and give you a warm welcome from day 1 as part of the Kamafari family. I had a comfortable stay here, clean rooms and bathrooms. Food was good, you get simple, home-cooked food by Julie and crew. There are also a number of eateries and grocery... More

Bali is a magical, overwhelming place. It was my 2. time here and I spent it at Kamafaris Surfcamp. I have no regrets, this camp provides (awesome) breakfast and dinner, clean rooms, a nice bathroom and great service. Most important thing to me is the vibes of a place, and the Kamafari vibes are definitely pure sweetness! People who stay... More

http://pleasantcynicism.com/blog/2013/1/11/kamafari-surfcamp-in-bali The vibe in Bali is special. The Kamafari family is capable of enhancing the Balinese experience. Kamafari is a place I debated whether to write about. Sometimes you want to hoard a few of the good spots. The camp is on the Bukit peninsula of Bali where local activity outweighs tourists. Tourists....ugh.. You seek local culture, cuisine, and insight... More

Stayed here last May 2012 on a two weeks surf trip and I feel like I have an extended family in Bali. The camp is situated on the beautiful Pukit peninsula with an unreal sunset view daily. Most of the famous breaks i.e. Padang Padang, Uluwatu, Bingin, Dreamland, Impossible, and Balangan are located within a 5-10 minutes scooter ride (scooters... More

Such an awesome awesome place to stay! The rooms are stylish, clean and cozy. The food is delicious and quite large portions. The pancakes for breakfast and Bali coffee were a daily staple for me. The staff is super friendly and make you feel like part of the family right away. The large common area is a great place to... More

I stayed here for two weeks in September and had an ok experience overall, but there are quite some things that could be improved. While the camp (including rooms and bathrooms) is beautifully designed, two bathrooms is just not enough for more than 20 people if its full. You often have to wait to shower. The dorms are spacious and... More

The team around Simon (the owner) gives you a warm welcome and from the first day on you nearly feel being part of the family. Julie is a really pro in the kitchen (except you don't like egg) and the surf-instructors are always happy to share a beer with you and have a chat. The rooms get cleaned daily and... More

Thanks to Kamafari Surf camp I’ve had the best time ever on Bali. The camp is amazing. It’s really comfortable, low-key, has a great atmosphere and the best view ever! It’s a perfect place to meet new people. You can hang out in the big lounge area with TV and playstation, play pool or just relax with a bintang on... More
