This hotel and location could not be more perfect for a Tuscsan holiday. The hotel is charming in character and staff (esp the lovely Silvia) She went out of her way to make our stay extra special. The room was perfect, and very clean. We also took part in the cooking course at the hotel which was a wonderful experience... More

Stayed for 2 nights in room 11 and it was wonderful. Had a beautiful view of the fantastic countryside. Was so relaxing to wake up in the morning with the birds singing, sun shining and the picture perfect view. This was the last stop for us after a week in Tuscany and it was most definately saving the best for... More

The town of Radda is extremely quaint and charming and a great location to stay in when visiting the area of Tuscany. The Palazzo Leopoldo had comfortable spacious rooms which made you feel as if you were in a cozy quaint farm house. Our room had a mini kitchenette bar which you could use to prepare food, or eat in... More

In a medieval town, this is the palace! Every inch of the Leopoldo is royalty. The staff far exceeds many other places we stay on our trip. Our room was double the size of any other. We had not only our room, a huge bathroom, sitting area, kitchenette, dining table, all for our convenience. There is not one thing that... More

Traveling in December in Tuscany is quiet and relaxing. Finding a home away from home is icing on the cake and that's what the Palazzo Leopoldo became. Sylvia greeted us and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We found that the amenities offered (wellness center, indoor pool, cooking lessons, etc) provided us with a home base for our Tuscan... More

We visited Radda in December so the town was overall very sleepy. That being said it didn't actually seem like the hotel was meant to be open when we stayed. We received an upgrade to a Jr. Suite because there were only two couple in the entire hotel. I was surprised that our room didn't have a bath tub which... More

We are very sorry that you did not appreciate our upgrade from Superior room to Junior Suite. It was only a way to thank you to have chosen Palazzo Leopoldo for your stay. Regarding the bathtub, we do not have them in all our rooms, as we published in all our communications, but we have an indoor heated pool that... More

I can't praise this beautiful hotel enough. The rooms are huge...the included breakfast is bountiful (and more fun when eaten in the rustic kitchen) and the staff provides excellent service. The village of Radda, where the palazzo is situated, is charming but shuts down early...at least in the winter when I was there. It is centrally located, though, for side trips... More

This is a great place to stay while doing the Chianti wine region in depth. It is gracious and central enough to be a focus of a wine journey. The hilltop village of Radda is at the end of a long and winding road, an hour south of Florence by car. What a lovely ride. At the end, you get... More

Here's a good address in the Chianti. Definitely that old world charm that tourists will love, with most of the comfort and service that you expect from a reasonably pricey place. However, and this is rarer in Chianti, it also tastefully appointed, nearly luxurious, and mostly clean. Service is friendly. Location is spectacular, in one of the most beautiful in... More
