Loved the decor and the grounds. Really feel like you are in some place special even with HWY 1 passing by the motel.

Overall the hotel is nice, modern interior, definitely doesn't feel like a motel like the name suggests. However for $250 a night I expected a little more. At least a coffee maker in the room. I think this place just lacks a lot of the amenities a regular hotel would have (24 hour concierge for example).

Loved the modern design and fantastic location. We let the manager know we would have a late arrival and our keys were waiting for us. The hotel is set off from the main road so we weren't too bothered by surrounding traffic noise (ask for an end suite if possible). There's a reason that Miller, Kerouac, and Steinbeck went to Big Sur to refresh. Make the experience amazing by staying at Glen Oaks. The entire location is quiet and nestled in amazing country.

This cozy motel provided a great place to stay during our drive up the California coast. Three state parks are close by, we were able to take spectacular hikes during the day and return to relax in a nicely finished room.
