If you are looking to get away from it all, retreat to the countryside to a place where your dog is welcome and your accommodation is top class, then Hay House Farm is the place for you. Debbie and Adrian's 16th century farm house is situated up a long drive, away from the road. It has been tastefully decorated inside,... More

We were nervous bringing our two dogs to a B&B where we knew they would meet other dogs, but had no reason to worry. We had a lovely welcome from the owners Debbie and Adrian and from the start it was clear that this is a really dog friendly place to stay, not merely a place that allows dogs. We... More

We had a wonderful stay at Hay House Farm in the Staffordshire Peak District. We took Henry, Our Great Dane, as H.H.Farm is advertised as 'Dog Friendly', and it certainly was!! Henry was given treats, a dog bed, a towel for drying off after a wet walkies, and lots of fuss and attention! We were looked after just as well,... More

Claire and I together with Mollie and Lucy spent a fabulous couple of nights at Hay House Farm. Worth every penny, our reception set the tone for a much needed break, couldn't have been friendlier. This considering we only booked the night before and were bringing a 16 week old puppy with us (Lucy - aka she who pees on... More

Have just returned from a relaxing and enjoyable 3 night stay at Hay House Farm. We stayed in the Hayloft as we had our 2 dogs Harvey (Labrador) & Tess (Weimaraner) so needed a bit of space. The bedroom and bathroom were both lovely, a super comfy bed and a huge bath to soak in. There were welcome packs for... More

We had a night in the Victorian Room with out two Labradors and were very impressed. The dogs were given beds, blankets, treats, towels and blankets. On seeing us towelling them outside the car, very muddy on arrival after a lovely walk to the canal suggested by Adrian, Debbie even brought more towels out for them. Adrian and Debbie were... More

Hay House Farm is an old farmhouse on a smallholding with a few sheep and chickens. It is a perfect location for a restful break. They were also helpful in accommodating our plans for attending a wedding nearby by letting us have our room at 10.30am on our arrival date, instead of the usual 3.30pm The room was lovely for... We have just returned from our 5 nights at Hay House and we had a lovely time. We arrived early and Adrian suggested that we went to The Black Bull for lunch. Brilliant suggestion and our Springer Spaniel loved the walk there and back especially after being stuck in the car for a number of hours. The room was spotless... More

We had a 3 night stay in the Victorian Room with our Labrador Ted and Border Terrier Rosie. We had such a relaxing stay that we felt like the weight of the world had been lifted by the time we left. My husband and I had our last holiday in 2007 when we were lucky enough to be loaned use of a friend’s static caravan for us and our dog, Jodie. Since then we gained two retired racing greyhounds, so finding holiday accommodation has become more of an issue. Yes, there are plenty of ‘dog-friendly’ cottages, caravans and B&Bs but most... More
