after returning for secound visit, what a change the new owners have made.very clean and tidy ,pet friendly, the food was excellent,the staff very helpfull,child friendly ,bouncy castle for them and a good play area. we wil be retuning very soon.thanks again for ex service.

Having spent the afternoon at altontowers spa we decided to stop at the cross on the way home for dinner. Stayed at the cross inn because the Alton towers hotel was fully booked and we were very pleased we did! The cross inn offers incredible value for money, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. Stayed Saturday night, convient for AltonTowers which is short walk away. Rooms very well presented and clean, newly refurbished bar and restaurant excellent and cosy environment. Staff polite and eager to help, service great and dinner was enjoyable. Highly recommended for accommodation, might even consider staying in their newly acquired static caravans for a longer family stay.

Stayed here for a long weekend on August Bank holiday. What a lovely tranquil place to stay. The service was excellent, really good value for money. Would deffinatelly stay again. Staff were very helpful, and nothing seemed to much trouble for them. Will reccomend to all family and friends.
