Expensive, old and bad service in a convenient location. Rooms are old, smelly and poorly maintained. Staff is unfriendly and clearly not customer focused. 3-star hotel at the most. Don't stay here!!

I stayed for a week on business in August, and found the hotel clean, well organised an reasonably efficiently run. I had a room right on the top floor with excellent views over the pool. After staying in the jungle in Palenque and a budget place in San Cristobal, I didn't mind splurging a bit for the Camino Real at the tail end of the trip. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated but despite everything looking good...

The hotel is very clean and is right next to a very popular mall. I look for a special rate on the Camino Real Club room rate, because...
