There are two double beds in each room, which is nice in the heat. We stayed one night here and slept superbly. Our room was quite smelly (damp), but we ignored that. The restaurant was nice; we didn't eat there for dinner but others in out party did and said it was good. Breakfast was lovely and for the first... More

I stayed here two nights while visiting Palenque and its surroudings. Dont expect high end hotels in this city, but the this hotel makes your stay comfortable. It is located on Canada street along with other hotels. You will see it on your left as you come into town from Villahermosa. There are restaurants walking distance and two tour agencies... More

This is a nice place in a terrible city. The staff are very friendly, helpful and alert. The atmosphere is really cozy. Food is quite good. The Guacamole and Tortillas are so delicious.

Great hotel to arrive at after a hot day exploring ruins. Large comfortable, clean, cool rooms, Clean, decent sized bathrooms. Very inviting pool, that was very much appreciated. Free wi-fi. Restaurant is "open air", which is very pleasant. The hotel is located in a tree lined street, which is very pleasant for walking during the cool of the evening and... More

We arrived at the hotel after a very hot day at the ruins. Check in was very pleasant and efficient but the grounds looked extremely tired. Rooms were large and clean but basic and in ours we had an aircon unit that I can only describe as a jumbo jet !! We decided to swim prior to dinner, the pool... More

Dear sir, we regret for not giving you the best service. The swimming pool it's clean, with details sometimes due the use of suntan, which is prohibited. Plastic cups are used in that sweat area as a policy to prevent accidents such as a broken crystal. All of our 74 rooms has minisplit-air conditioning, which are very silent. Don't know... More

A very good value and friendly service at this very nicely kept hotel. The pool is small but the outdoor decor of the mayan copies of reliefs are very nice and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast that was included was ample and if you selected something other on the menu, the additional cost was minimal.

Hotel Chablis had building work underway so we were moved to Hotel Maya Tulipanes. We had a kingsize bed in a lovely large room, very clean. Great bathroom and a fridge. No safety deposit box in room only at reception desk, but this worked well. We walked here from the bus station less than a ten minute walk. There is... More

We originally had a booking for the hotel Chablis, but when we arrived, they told us they were doing a big renovation and gave us the option to stay at Tulipanes next door. We decided to do this, after they explained the rate would be the same and called to double check there was a room available. A porter even... More

We stayed here for 3 nights having enquired about availability as a ‘walk in’ We were not disappointed. The room we were provided with was in a block immediately across from the swimming pool. It had king size bed, ample space and was well equipped with air conditioning, separate ceiling fan, flat screen TV but no safe. Bathroom had a... More
