This Hotel is very well situated in the Roks and has excelent views of the Bridge and Opera Hse. It has also some very good restuarants close by. The rooms are clean & tidy and of a reasonable size. Check in and all the staff we had dealings with are very helpfull. The buffet breakfast had good choices and the... More

Spent 2 nights here. Signed up for Priority Rewards at check-in; was upgraded to King room on second floor. No noise from street thanks to very effective double glazed windows. Very comfy bed and choice of soft or firm pillows. Bathroom was small, but spotlessly clean and good water pressure from shower (over bath type) also nice big towels and... More

There are many positives about this hotel, mostly the location, the location and the location. 5 minutes from Circular Quay, surrounded by some good restaurants, a really buzzy part of the city, great views of the bridge and of the opera house. Inside the hotel its a bit classy, nice rooms but I wouldn't have breakfast here, pop out the... More

Dear HI---fan---Dub Thank you for pointing the positives out for our hotel. We do have a rivalled location for most hotels in Sydney and being in the historical area of the first settlement is something special in itself. There are many places around us that you can choose to eat however our breakfast is one for the adventurer. A large... More

Another fantastic IHG hotel, this Holiday Inn is great, and of the three Holiday Inns in Sydney, if your not needing to be up near the Cross, or Darling Harbour, there is of course Sydney airport but who counts airport hotels. Also if you don't mind paying a little more then this should be your first choice if you a priority... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Signed up for priority rewards when I booked. On arrival, quick check in, request for room with view they were able to accommodate us. Arranged late check out, free newspaper. Room is your standard 4 star hotel affair. Comfortable, clean. Bathroom likewise though a bit dated and there was a problem with the drain in... More

An excellent hotel to stay in when you are visiting the Rocks area of Sydney. The rooms are a little on the small size but the bed is really comfy. We had a room that faced George St which meant we had a view of the Harbour Bridge but the noise from the club across the road was loud and... More

Firstly i will start with the positives: -great customer service upon arrival -view of the opera house, rocks area from our fifth floor east facing room -one of the better located hotels in the city -commanding view from the roof-top -good range of restaurants nearby..highly recommend baroque just across the road! ...the major downside we experienced was the pool / spa.... I stayed here for two nights recently - one for business, the second for pleasure. The visit started well with speedy and friendly check-in and an upgrade to a top floor harbour view room. We arrived late in the day and, as we hadn't eaten since breakfast, enquired straight away about restaurant hours. Initially we were surprised by the fact... More

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, large clean rooms. Have stayed 4 times and have always had an early check in and a room with a view. Pool is excellent and never crowded. Love being near the pubs and restaurants. With a short walk to night life I feel very safe even when travelling alone.

good location in the rocks, close to lots of great cafes for breakfast. Some rooms are old and a little shabby, but clean and comfortable. Rooftop pool and spa were a little cold but good views of harbor bridge and opera house. Some rooms on lower floors and on one side of the hotel are very noisy on a Fri/Sat... More

Dear Velma2 Thank you for your feedback. Great to hear your thoughts and it now has me thinking to raise the temperature now we are coming into the cooler months. I will definitely look into the feasibility of a warmer pool and spa. Do note that at the moment we run on regulation temperatures but thank you for the suggestion.... More
