We stayed at Lido for 5 nights. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and rooms were clean - we were told that the room may get a little noisy of Friday and Saturday nights so we requested a quieter room at the back of the hotel and didnt hear a thing - the weekdays here were VERY QUIET. I... More

We stayed here one night. We were well received and our room was comfortable and good value for money. We had a room on the street side, and as it's located in Kings Cross, it is quite a noisy street. As the sound isolation isn't that great, you will hear a great deal of it. But apart from that: good... More

We stayed here in may 2012 and loved it! Being that the hotel was in the heart of the cross there was noise but we had no problem falling and staying asleep(we were on the street side right next to the nightclub) The motel was clean, tidy, the bed was comfy and the elevator worked perfectly. The price was great,... More

Frightening! Stayed 2 nights, should have known there was a problem when on arrival found toilet bowl filled with....human waste!! On 2nd night the deafening fire alarm went off outside our door @ 2 am for 45 minutes. Fire door in corridor was closed. Unsure what was happening, phoned night manager number who claimed alarm was coming from night club... More

Stayed for 9 nights and is the worst place on this earth and I have travelled a lot. kings cross is a dump, packed with drunks, junkies, tramps I would avoid at all costs. It actually feels a bit unsafe of a night time The hotel staff was barely at reception Night club next door which kept us awake all... More

We stayed at the Lido Suites for 4 nights and chose it due to its price & location so weren't expecting luxury. We were nicely surprised by the room when we walked in. It was a great size with a big bed, nice bathroom and kitchenette. Unfortunately we couldn't open the blinds and could only get decent reception on one... More

As a last minute stay, location was right in the middle of the Cross. Parking down the road for a discount $20. Rooms OK for an overnight. If you want to sleep don't stay here. Noisy throughout the hotel all night and outside was even worse.

I always stay here - I have been staying here when I visit Sydney for the last 4 or so years. The quality goes up and down but it is ALWAYS LOUD. I don't mind that it is loud, as I am young and most the time I can sleep through it. Positives: Location (Oportos across the road, along with... More

We needed a hotel close to St Lukes Hospital ( on same street) as my Mum was having surgery. The hotel is very close to the train station, restaurants and cafes, convenience stores etc but also niteclubs with one next door. We asked for a room with an extra bed for me while Mum was in hospital and then for... More

The hotel is in a very happening part of the city, "King's Cross". Here, you get a mixed bag of things from prostitution, many loitering vagrants, seedy activities, to plentiful pubs, many restaurant choices, good transit, and close to good walks to places such as Hyde Park and Elizabeth Bay. But, the hotel itself lacked in many areas. The front... More
